Post Builder - Add New Block

Is anyone able to get the middle option to work? I can only add blocks above or below an existing block.

I'm using PB 12.0.0.

Thanks in advance!

A block was always one line of NC code, that is the general definition to NC code blocks else there wouldn't be an end-of-block character.

If you need a block that consists of two blocks, you need to create a new custom block that merges the two separate blocks to get it output on one NC code line.

Prior to version 10, Post Builder allowed the users to create the so-called "composite blocks" (by joining multiple block templates inline) for the sequence events.  With the introduction of new attributes (check block condition, seq num suppression) that can be attached to each block template, it has become rather difficult or impossible to manage these attributes sensibly when the attributes are assigned to multiple blocks inline.

Also, from the field, the composite blocks did not appear to be widely in use. This capability is thus disabled by default due to the background mentioned above.  Nevertheless, the users can still enable this capability as desired by setting the global variable as "set ::gPB(DISABLE_COMP_BLK) 0" in the "ui_pb_user_resource.tcl" (in your $HOME directory). But, be aware of the short comings that may surface as described above.

In version 12 of Post Builder, when a post already contains composite blocks, this capability will be activated for that post automatically.
