I am building a post builder with the following information.
1. Machine type : Horizontal BC Table-Table type
2. Controller : SIEMENS 840D
I have a problem with the current TRANS output value.
Currently, the TRANS value is output only from the origin to the TRANS point regardless of the rotation.
Even if the initial rotation axis is changed, it is not reflected.
And this equipment does not use AROT.
I would like to change the TRANS value according to the rotation as below.
Please give me a lot of advice.
Does this value change, or is it always the same?
Do you want it output output once @ start of program, or at every tool change?
One option is to define a couple expressions (could be defined as measurments) with the desired values. (e.g. TRANS_ORIGIN_X and TRANS_ORIGIN_Y)
Then in your post:
- if expression doesn't exist, don't output value (e.g. if X doesn't exist, just output "TRANS Ynnn")
- if expression exists , output that value
If you need multiple, you can use multiple expressions ("TRANS_ORIGIN_X_1") based on whatever index you need (if different MCS, you could use fixture offset. Or you could use a UDE to specify which index to use. Or whatever)
