I think so.

1) What governs the angled "start" points of each pass (The move down from "A") - is that done on the control, or is there an M code or?

In NX, you can set the engave angle to simulate this (I think...)

2) What governs the "taper off" at the end of the thread pass (distance "r") -I've seen M codes & machine parameters to set this?

 

In short, you need to post more of the docs on the cycle from the machine/control manufacturer (i.e. the WHOLE section on the threading cycle)

Translated postprocessor in millimeters. But it does not work correctly. The cycle is displayed repeatedly. As many times as the passages have a thread.
Where, what to read about the mechanism of interaction of the postprocessor with the NX.
