Hello,

does anyone have any experience using UDE for Heidenhain cycles that are preconfigured in PostConfigurator? Is it possible to get some information about how to use them?

Thank you
Pavel

Add any of the drilling cycle UDEs to a drilling operation. This will use the parameters of the UDE to fill in the cycle parameters.

For example some parameters for CYCLE 241, gun drilling, are not included in the operation dialog, so you use the UDE CYCLE 241 to fill in the gaps.

In general the cycle UDEs are only used if any of the cycle parameters cannot be specified through the regular operation parameters.

Hi,

These UDEs are not present on default CAM environment. They will be activated only in CSE when you add a machine with Heidenhain control to your CAM (with a post processor that includes the definition for these UDEs, like what you have). Then you can add any UDE to your operation and fill in the parameters in order to output the CYCLE.

Kind regards,
