Hello,

 

I am having an issue where when I post process a program, there is random Feeds programmed into it as well that are much slower than the one I programmed. However it eventually does program the feed I programmed. Any way to fix this issue? I underlined the feeds in bold in the code below:

Some options:

1) Open up the feeds/speeds dialog

Expand ALL the feed options/blocks.

It's probably there somewhere.

2) You could also turn on the review tool in the post, and post the one operation.  See what event is outputting the "odd" feedrate.

3) Also you could look in the post (for that same event) - see if the post does something strange.

 

It could also be some other things...

I only see 2 feeds - are those what you are questioning?

As suggested, the first thing to look at is the feeds and speeds dialog.

It looks like your "Cut" feedrate is set to 60, then your "Engage", "Retract", and maybe "Step Over" feedrates in the "More" drop down in the "Feedrates" section are set to 2.6 or some percentage of "Cut" feedrate that outputs that.

When I adjusted the values in the red box in the image below, the post proicessing issue resolved itself. However I have never messed with these values before, how can I set them to automatically follow the feetrate I program just once?

Set them to 100 %Cut, as they should be out of the box.

If you did nto change them, it could be that your template us customized, or you used Set Machining Data (which sets them all), or the preference to always Set Machining Data is turned on.
