I have edited the default Machine control event to get our probing cycles workinf ro single point x, y and z.  Is there a was to copy the probe single point sub op and rename it / edit it?  Im trying to create a new subop that i can customize to do part cl in x and y.  i cant seem to find any info on the subject or how the sub op is linked to the control event.  any info would be apreciated.

Do you have the Probing license in NX? or are you creating your own procedures?

What have you done in the Post?

Are you using a UDE to define the probe point or something else?

Im using the ootb fanuc probe post and have modified the G65 Pxxx to match our mills.  the single point is working fine.  i just cant figure out a way to also gain the pocket cycle.  i thought the easiest way would be to copy the single point sub op and machine event and rename them to pocket.  just cant seem to figure out how to do it.

We have the probing license and I have been struggeling with the probing events that are provided with NX.  I can get the Bore, boss sindle position in X, Y, Z but I have not see a Pocket cycle available in the default operations.

Now you have me curious.  The probing template does not have a Pocket type.

I would also like to know if additional "Types" can be added.

The post has a probe_angled_surface event but there is no "Type" to use it?

Time to get someone from Siemens to respond.

You can add any new suboperation, see my sample for MAZAK-FANUC, O9812 is a pad measurement.

You can add your own suboperations through customization.

Create an operation and Object --> Customize

Expand Sub-Operation Manager and add a new User Defined Motion to the Dialog

Then customize Sub Dialog and add Items
