I have the problem with G41 on haas machine. Anyone know, why machine stop and shows error: disturbance of cutter compensation.
This occurs when I finish mill a hole and on the bottom is a 3mm size blend.
Who has the same prolem with haas mill machine?
Thanks in advance,
Need more info to diagnose. So many different things can cause these issues.
Usually the problem is an offset is entered that is greater than the length of the move used to activate comp.
It can also be a post processor issue as well.
I've seen issues on certain controls as well - who is the control manufacturer? (Siemens, Fanuc, Mazak, ...)
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP16/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
Quite often when a large amount of compensation (like tool radius) is involved, the so-called Alarm-41 can occur on the controllers (perhaps Fanuc style) that use 2 (or 3 not sure) consecutive segments (3 points) to determine the next tool position. The alarm arises when the segments are too short for the controller to compute the intersection from the curves offset by the amount of compensation.
