I don't get the question in total, but you can do in NX an external NC code based simulation.
Take the *.ptp fiel e.g. for a fanuc controller and run the machine tool simulation with it to check against limits, collisions and material removal. For sure a scenario of the machine tool is needed (graphics, controller etc.)
In the new pallet of NX12.0.2 you will find multiple examples for it.
how to recheck ??
older version check like
toolpath is display iam clarifying
Nx 12.0 how to check toolpath in after post processer
Maybe a misunderstanding;
I was talking about NC Code based simulaiton, to check an exisintg NC Code.
I am not sure which version you have.
You said you were trying to compare tool numbers before (I think).
Use the "file compare" tool to check side by side two different files for comparison.
Select the two different files in windows and drag them into CIMCO.
You will have to make sure the machine and post are configured correctly. "Out of the box" there may be differences between actual movement.
This can take some time and development. Blindly trusting the sim will not guarantee a problem free program. After testing and running several jobs, and several months you will get to point where you trust it more. The problem at most shops I see, is that this takes time that no one has, and it gets put off indefinitely, even though it would pay for itself many times over once used. Getting the job out the door tomorrow is more important despite the fact you will be far behind a year from now.
