Reducing poly count of lightweight bodies in NX 11.0.2.7

I used to bring .jt files in to NX 9.0 to reduce their poly count for use in a web based viewer. I find in NX 11.0 I have to "convert" these lightweight bodies as they are not selectable in the faceted body Decimate operator. What I am finding is not all objects in the .jt file can be converted (Convert Facet Body Error: The object supplied was not a valid faceted model). And because I have to delete the original bodies when converting, I am losing those parts that won't convert.

What can I do to correct this? Or, is there a better way to reduce the poly count of the .jt file in NX for re-exportation?

Why was this changed? What is causing some lightweight bodies to convert and other to fail?

Thank you in advance for any insight.

I'd guess that you'd have a better chance of getting an answer in the "Design" forum. Decimation of facettted bodies is a modeling function.
