Anybody know how to select an operation without using the mouse?

Interactivitly you somehow you need to make the Operation Navigator "Window" active and select the Program Group.  Once that is selected you can arrow down to highlight an operation and then the Enter key will open the dialog.

I am sure there are other ways to select an operation using UG Open or other programming solutions.

Making the Operation Navigator active is the problem I can't figure out. Even when coming out of an operation the Operation Navigator is not active. Tab usually cycles through selections in most software that I've used and works inside an operation to move around without the mouse. The only button that seems to activate keyboard selection ability is the Alt key and that only activates Ribbon bar.

Having to constantly move the mouse a large distance to activte the Operation Navigator gets tiresome. The pitfalls of having two large monitors. Smiley Very Happy

How about positioning the dialogs near the operation navigator?

For example, if you have the resource bar displayed on the second monitor, which is to the right, also move the dialog to the right hand side of the graphics window.

At the moment I have the Operation Navigator docked at the top of my graphics window so the only way to get it closer than that is to float it but then that kind of defeats the purpose of the large monitor for the graphics. All in all I'll get by, more than anything I was just curious as it would be nice to just hit tab or some other key/combination to activate the Operation Navigator window.

You might want to submit an IR, state that it is likely an ER, stating what you want.

With the advent of larger & multiple monitors, this might be a GUI issue they would want to look into.

Create an enhancement request at GTAC and post it here, so others that also like this feature can be added to it.

I have checked yesterday, but there is no menu entry to activate the operation navigator.

Thank you everybody for your input.

ER #9044513 has been created if anybody wants to be added to it.

What the ER is asking for is: To make the Operation Navigator active when exiting an Operation and/or create a keyboard shortcut to "Activate" the Operation Navigator.
