Setting the tool holder for two tools

Hello everyone,

Could anyone advise me how to properly set up in kinematic machine use on a turret lathe holder for two tools? It is a lathe with an anti-spindle. The tools that are on the main spindle side have numbers 1-16 and the tools on the counter spindle have 17-46. Always, if I choose tool T33 and I want to work on the counter, I'm working on the T3 tool.

Multi tool support is planned, but not implemented yet.

I think there is a heavy load of voodoo needed to accomplish this in the current NX releases.

You can have a look into this example:

sim15_millturn_setup_sinumerik_mm_dual_sync.prt

Here the NC code always position the turret with the main pocket number, which include a device object with two pockets for the cutter left/right. The activation of the one or the other cutter (including the length compensation) is done via D1 or D2 the given adjust register in the cutter object.
