Another Topic: What color should I choose in my bitmaps to get a transparency if I choose the Operation in template? Earlier it was RGB 192,192,192. Now this does not work anymore.
Home->System administration->Customizing the NX installation->Customizing the NX interface:
For a background transparency color on 24-bit bitmaps use magenta (255, 0, 255). NX treads magenta as transparent for all high-quality bitmap files stored as 24-bit (16 million color) and 8-bit (256 color), ans light grey as transparent for all bitmap files stored as 4-bit (16 color).
There is also some methioning regarding partial transparency.
The non 24-bit bitmaps can just be handled on Windows systems.
I think NX10 does not know the documentation In NX8.5 the transparency worked.
one of the backgrounds should be white and the other one like this:
When you get the bitmap missing message, is there any more detail in the syslog - like the file path it is lookin in?
In your syslog, what is UGII_BITMAP_PATH pointing to?
And just confirming - this discussion is only about the Create dialog in CAM. For ribbons and the rest of the UI, it is standard NX customization rules for finding and displaying icons.
