Well thanks to another member of this forum I was able to figure it out. I guess in a double acme thread your normal "pitch" is not what you actually threadmill. You have to look up the "lead" which ended up being 2x the pitch for a double start.
So the thread is a 2.5 major - .200 pitch which means you cut a .400 pitch twice 180* apart.
The same member also helped me figure out how to 3d verify and confirm I was getting correct results with my acme threadmill operation.
