Tool Path of Follow Periphery pattern

Hi

I used the Periphery pattern as a pattern.

However, a tool path is created as shown below.

I do not want to create that extruded tool path.

Is there a way to prevent the stepover value from being generated without changing it?

Verify the Stepover value. You might want to decrease that a bit.

NX generates these moves when the stepover is that large that it would generate little islands in the corners.

As far as i know it cannot be suppressed, and as far as i could imagine, you don't want the islands also.

2 options for this:

1: Decrease the stepover (like Gerrit said)

2: Use Cutting > Corners > Smoothing > All Passes

Best would be to use both options.

If you only use the corners option than at least the tool will not dive into the corner, but makes a circulair sweep through.
