Anybody please help why UV coordinate very difference between Mitsubishi Wire cut EDM and Standard NX post for Mitsubishi as below:
Manufacturing cone shape: D1=10mm, D2=5mm
Mitsubishi Gcode output:
This is code output from NX
I imported this code to Mitsubishi Wire cut machine, the shape is not correct.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Looks liek NX is outputting UV in absolute values, Mitsubishi is expecting it to be incremental values (i.e. delta from XY position)
I've not touched Wire EDM posts in a while, there (hopefully) is an option to switch them, otherwise you'll have to figure out the math & change value to $upper(n) - $mom_pos(n)
(not sure the variable for "upper", but it should be the variable currently in the U/V words)
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP5 + patch/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steemed than e-diseaseled
