Wrap solid body

Builder

I'm hoping someone can help with modifying some "dumb" geometry. In the attached file there is two solids, I would like to wrap the green body around a given radius. I've attached a couple of picture trying to depict what I want to do.

This is just a sample part file, the actual models have more details. Remodeling from scatch is not the desired process, we have many, many of the "2D", 3D models that we need to work with.

Won't give you the entire body, but if you extract the edge curves, and what you are wrapping around is ALWAYS a [cylinder or cone or "developable" surface] you can use the "wrap curve" functionality to get the curves wrapped to the surface.  Getting the solid back depends on exactly what you're trying to do.

I think you will get more responses if you ask this in the Design Forum

Thanks Ken. You suggestion of extracting curves, wraping, creating sheets and sewing to a soild works well.
