custom error message....

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to create a popup window that I could use as a kind of custom error message for the user.  For example,

if {maxSpindle < 0} {

      pop-up window "go to line 33 of source file to debug"

}

Is there a simple text widget command than I can use?

Re: custom error message....

starting from NX9, we can use:

MOM_display_message

Displays OK button if no label specified, and returns 1

MOM_display_message <message> <title> <type> [<button1>][<button2>][<button3>]

Displays a message dialog box in NX. <type> is the style of the message box, I|E|W|Q, where I is info, E is error, W is warning, and Q is question. Button labels are optional. Returns the number of the button (1, 2, or 3) that the user clicks.
