cylindrical interpolation G07.1

progrsmming a slot on the od of s part on a samsung sl25mc lathe

starting point is at c-90  (line N10480) at N10540 it's suppose to only go .4664 degrees but on

distance to go show 425 degrees to go anyone see what the problem is

I dont have access to a Fanuc? manual at the moment.

However if G07.1 is like polar.

C is a virtual Y axis and dependant on the radius X?

 

How are you generating this output?

 

Guessing, probably need more info

For G07.1 C is not a virtual Y as I thought.

not according to the manual it breaks down the c axis into angular degrees this is a samsung mc25 with fanuc controller.  i want a small groove about .5 degrees of rotation -90 to -90.4664 but it gos 425 degrees.

Sorry, I was talking about virtual axis like G12.1 Polar where is C a virtual Y value and the control calculates the angle.

 

As I read it G07.1 C is the angle.

 

Have you tried to make all the C values positive?
