my name is Alex and I have a question regarding CLSF source output. I have tried to find such topic, but I did not succeed.
I would like to ask you guys, how to make CLSF output GOTO's instead of CIRCLE. I would like my post-processor to generate G01 and not G02/G03 in the helical milling cycle. Would someone be willing to show me how to do this?
I tried to modify pb_cmd_helix - set mom_kin_helical_arc_output_mode LINEAR MOM_reload_kinematics
but that did not do anything. Is this only for post_processor and not for CLSF output?
Thank you very much and have a great day!
Solved! Go to Solution.
As the CLSF uses something similar to "turbo" mode in NXPost, I'm not sure ths is possible (Someone with more knowledge, likely from Siemens, would need to answer)
Note you CAN control this in your NX operations.
If you are using the "as installed" dialogs, under the "Machine control" block is a setting "Motion output type"
Set that to "Line" and you will only gte linear moves.
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP16/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
You can customize the Hole Milling dialog and add the Motion Output Type to the dialog.
it is me again. I've tested ti again and it works. It has not done it properly the first time.
Big thank you, sir!
