Hi Amnon,

You can select all tools > MB3 > Object > Template Settings > and check the option Create if Parent is Created.

After you save the file you can configure this file as a template file.

Now, all new files you initialize with this template file will have all 90 tools you create.

I hope this help.

Hello Jean

thank you for your reply.

i tried to do what you offer, and i got partial solution.

when i create new file to nx10 cam i get all carriers, but not all the tools that i created in the original carrier.

I attach 2 files of origin file (mill_planer) and the new file (model1)

Thank you for your help

Hi Amnon,

Please, select all nodes (Carrier, Pockets and Tools) and click MB3 > Object > Template Settings and check the option Create if Parent is Created.

Save file mill_planar.prt, close NX and reopen.

Now all (Carrier, Pockets and Tools) will be created in new file using mill_planar template.

Note, the Pockets 42-50 don't have tool, so, only pockets will be created.

I hope this help.

Amnon,

Unfortunately, when you initialize a template, you can't choose what Carrier you would like to load.

The template will create the both carriers.

So, you can configure 3 different templates, for example:

First - mill_planar with 2 carriers (Carrier and Steel)

Second - mill_planar_carrier with only "Carrier"

Third - mill_planar_steel with only "Steel"

When you use a mill_planar template that have the "Carrier" and "Steel" you will need choose the right tool from the right carrier.

I hope this help.

I don't advise to do this because when you have to update it will be a mess.

Maybe you can bring in the tools as part of a machine CSE?
