milling (non-modeled) chamfers, automated crash avoidance?

Is there a way to cut non-modeled chamfers and have NX automatically avoid places where the tool won't fit? I've tried planar profile and Solid Profile 3D as well as Profile 3D but haven't come up with a solution.

 

Here's a sample of a typical situation

I'd like to have all the edges chamfered where possible. Any suggestions?

If I right understand you - you can use Fixed Contour with 90 deg chamfer mill. Use "ON" position and two offsets, equal offsets for depth and for side. But - decrease side offset to chamfer size. Use Conrol Geometry for bosses. If you upload your prt - I can build operation.

just what I was looking for. I assume this method requires extracting/drawing the boundaries?

 

I'll do some experimenting and report back!
