I have a real customer who real need a 3D-compensation. Ok, I can output mom_normal_contact to nc-programm, but I see interesting moment: for CUT, FIRST_CUT motion types I have a correct normal vector. But sometime customer use arc engage and arc retract motions, and for ANY types motions not equal CUT or FIRST CUT mom_contact_normal wrong (really NX output mom_contact_normal as tool_axis vector).

I UNDERSTAND that engage and retract havenot contact with part geometry, and final engage motion have a correct normal, but I want to send my wishes to developers - may be possible to set mom_contact_normal for engage and retract as "projected" to closest part geometry?
