mom_spindle_rpm & mom_feed_cut_value not cycling properly in shop docs

I'm not an tcl guy. I figured that the simplest thing to change a tool list output would be by modifying the standard shopdoc_tool_list_text.tcl file and replacing 2 of those called out variables with the one I'd want to list.

So using find & replace function I replaced:

mom_tool_flute_length with mom_feed_cut_value

and

mom_tool_length_adjust_register with mom_spindle_rpm

I also modified the listing headers appropreatly.

tcl-1.jpg

 tcl-2.jpg

But when I run shop docs using this template, every single tool listed shows the same RPM and Feed Rate from the very last operation.

tcl-3.jpg

The Review Tool shows there are different values for each operation

tcl-4.jpg

Even without good tcl knowledge it's should be simple change, I'm puzzeld why this wouldn't work. After all I'm just replacing existing variables that were properly declared and called out in the original template. I'm includind the modified tcl template file, just rename the txt to tcl

Working with NX 10.0.3.5 MP1

Thanks, Andy.

Andy,

I haven't dug in to this, but it looks like you are cycling tools in the shopdocs, and the mom variables for speed and feed come from the operations. To get to the speed and feed, you need to cycle the operations.

Thanks, I wrongly assumed I could return the mom value regardless of that.

All othe variables return correct values,

So what do i do to correct this.

Thanks

If you are cycling tools, then all of the holder parameters should be available.

Be sure to turn on the review tool to see what is available. For example:

Var: mom_tool_holder_offset = 0.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_number_of_steps = 3
Var: mom_holder_step_sequence_number[0] = 1
Var: mom_holder_step_sequence_number[1] = 2
Var: mom_holder_step_sequence_number[2] = 3
Var: mom_holder_step_diameter[0] = 16.50000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_diameter[1] = 28.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_diameter[2] = 64.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_length[0] = 10.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_length[1] = 22.75000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_length[2] = 15.90000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_taper_angle[0] = 29.99999999999999300
Var: mom_holder_step_taper_angle[1] = 0.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_taper_angle[2] = 0.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_corner_radius[0] = 0.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_corner_radius[1] = 0.00000000000000000
Var: mom_holder_step_corner_radius[2] = 0.00000000000000000

Not sure if you copied/pasted your actual code, or just typed something, but in what you posted, you need the "$" sign...(I think?!?!?!)

{$mom_holder_step_diameter(0)

I have attached my shop doc code.

The Value of holder Dia does update, even if my operation is using a 14mm holder.

Thanks
