okuma lathe post

Hi all,

I want the post to ouput the workpiece limits as a block like that

 

PS LC,[ 320 ,0],[ 320 , 150 ],4

 

it is for okuma lathe, how can i do that?

 

Any one has an okuma lathe post?

For my turning/mill-turn machines, I typically have a seed part that contains a sketch defining the blank.

I can then extract the sketch expressions (using MOM_ask_ess_exp_value) to get the data for commands like this (or for Siemens controls, the WORKPIECE command).

 

Another option is a UDE, but then the data is not associative to the geometry used for the turning blanks.

 

Note expression and attribute data is available in "start of program" event. 

Note UDE data is NOT available in "start of program", (and not even in "start of path") so you may have to play a bit with when things are output to get the PS commands in the correct place.
