"Entire part reference set" not set after saving and reopening assembly

Hi,

I'm relatively new to TC-NX integration support and now there is an issue in my organization.

There is a big assembly with a lot of sub assemblies. Some of the sub assemblies are in 'excluded reference set', where the user manually changes them to 'Entire part' whenever necessary and saves the assembly.

But the setting is not reflecting when the user reopens the assembly. The setting gets changed back to 'Model reference set' and need to be modified again. The user doesnot need this and wants it to be loaded with entire part reference.

I have tried some options but none of them are working, now I request this community if there is something you could help me with.

Thanks

Hi @Hariharan_SMG,

I think it might be better to place this topic in the Teamcenter community, where more specialists are available to give you an answer.

Teamcenter Community

Definitily there are experts in this community also, who are working with Teamcenter and NX CAD, but the odds might be better in the community named above.

Cheers,

Alexander

Check your assembly load options (menu -> file -> options -> assembly load options); expand the "reference sets" section and move the "entire part" option to the top of the list. This will tell NX to always load the entire part reference set. You can make this your personal default by using the "save as default" button. If the load options file is saved on the network, it can be made available to all the users. Your CAD admin should be able to help with that.
