Anybody noticed that an outside organization has now placed their tag on users as an affiliation ("PLM World") and has replaced our previous rankings with the prefix "PLM World Member"? Why was that done?
Solved! Go to Solution.
PLM World is an independent, not-for-profit user group for Siemens Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software product environment. The advisory structure of PLM World is a Board of Directors as well as Special Interest Group (SIG) chairpersons who are chosen from our user member population. Membership to PLM World is open to any user with a seat of Siemens PLM Software.
You can find out more about PLM World from their website here: http://www.plmworld.org/p/cm/ld/fid=18
PLM World works closely in conjunction with Siemens PLM Software to provide users an open forum for the exchange of ideas within Siemens PLM Software.
You may be familiar with Siemens PLM Connection which is the national users conference for Siemens PLM Software. PLM World is the organization that develops that user conference, working closely with Siemens and the Users to develop technical presentations and training.
Siemens PLM Software is working in conjunction with PLM World to help deliver the best user experience for this new community. PLM World wanted to recognize those users who are currently members of the organization.
The PLM World badge is in addition to your ranking, and does not supersede it. You will still go through the rank system, which will be displayed next to PLM World Member.
