I´ve an very genaral question:
I worke with Process Simulate (especially Jack to analyse the human movements, generate ergonomical reports ...).
Now I whant to create a machine from Inventor parts to my Robcadstudy.
My Problem: I can´t work with the kinematiceditor or create an "New device operation" with this inserted parts.
What I´ve to do to create very simple buildet machines with kinematics from Inventor data?
(It´s a project as a part of my master thesis)

I´m not familiar with Inventor but if possible you can export your parts to JT format (monolithic).
This JT file you can import into PS.
Afterwards you will have a *.COJT folder including your JT file within your library/systemroot.
From this point you are able to open it for modeling (set modeling scope) and afterwards you can run Kinematic Editor.
If you have a *.CO folder will won´t be able to open for modeling.
As soon as you have defined any kinematics you are able to create a device operation because from this point your object is a device. Without a kinematics it´s just an object.
