Dear experts,

I have a question about the modeling palletising process. The products are stakced on pallet with its paterns.

if I set pallet as container, product as @. but how to define its layer attribute, it is a XYZ concept.

Could you please advise of modeling this stuff?

Cheers,

Steven

Hello Steven2,

one way of modelling this would be to use a container with dimension x and y.

On each place of this container you put another container with dimension z.

Now you have direct access to each xyz storage place.

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for your comments, contiainer with Z direction... How to define this in 2D, since container has just x and y dim. So Shall I simply set the x or y value as its Z number? if so, it will affect its 3D attribute...

Appreciate your further comments, Any possibe to allow R&D team develop something dedicated palletsing in Plant simulation?

Hello Steven2,

Yes, the idea is to use e.g. the x dimension of the container for z and set y dimension to 1.

But you're right, you then have to adjust the animation points in 3D.

We are currently discussing a solution without such tricks for one of our next releases.

Ralf
