RobotExpert does not support these file types. You can import NX, JT, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, ProEngineer, CATIA, Parasolid, STEP, IGES, Tecnomatix files "only" .
I am not sure, but you can try SolidEdge Drafting. It is for free - http://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/en_us/products/solid-edge/free2d/
All other products I know are for money.
It should import AutoCAD files and it should be able to export IGES.
Let me know, if it helped.
Solid Edge Drafting can't export file to AutoCAD types, but i found some simple program "FreeCAD". It's totally free also and in this program it's possible to export *dfx to *.igs and *.stp.
So i think case is closed
it was misunderstanding. SE Drafting just imports ACAD files (DXF, DWG) and it should be able to export IGES, that you can directly import into Tecnomatix products. Exporting to DXF is useless for Tecnomatix.
Anyway, I'm glad that you have found a solution for your problem.
