PS: Operation Start Condition - Bug or Mistake?

Valued Contributor

Hello people,

when trying to set an Operation Start Condition for any of my operations (Control -> Debug -> Operation Start Condition; I use it whilst having a simulation running), I always get the window that I am supposed to get, but I cannot type any text. It just doesn't react to my keyboard and no matter what I do (like copy, paste), it stays empty.

Is this a known bug (Process Simulate version 13.1.2) or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

As you can see from the commands tooltip, it just a viewer no editor.

To define your start condition for your operations you can use the "Transitions" in Sequence Editor.

Hi!

If I understand correctly, Transition is used to define conditions when next operation can start.

Operation Start Condition button is used to see conditions when operation actually starts. That is not the same, because operation can have two or more predecessors and each of them can have a transition condition. So Start condition is a calculated combination of two transitions and cannot be edited directly.
