Tecnomatix Plant Simulation supports to import JT files and VRML files.

The JT file format is an ISO standard for 3D data exchange. But I don't know if SolidWorks can write this format. In any way it should support to write VRML files.

If information is lost in the VRML export and you have access to our product Teamcenter Visualization you can use this application to convert other standard formats like IGES, STEP and STL to the JT format.

you need to get the JT Translators for Solid Works. This will allow for the models to be exported from Solid Works then imported into Plant Simulation.
