Hello,

To turn it back into shape you also need the Modeling Scope: Set Modeling Scope -> make entity shaped -> End Modeling.

If you want to be able to control the visibility of the single entity without the Modeling Scope, use "Set Objects to be Preserved", whilst in Modeling Scope.

Sorry, I just understood your actual problem. When ending the modeling scope. the transparent version gets saved as the shaded one, so when setting the entity to "shaded", there's no change. You can "trick" the program by putting the entity into transparent mode and then "Undo". Unfortunately, the entity will still be saved in the library as a transparent version, so this is no permanent solution, but the best that I know.
