JTOpen Toolkit CentOS Installer not working

Hi there,

I'm running a CentOS in a VirtualBox VM. Standard GNOME desktop, dev packages, ksh and mksh installed.

CentOS 7 (updated all packages - I guess 7.4 something) and JtOpenToolkit version 9.0.0.

Running the installer script does not show any GUI. It just exits. No message. The shell script runs the binary installer without any arguments.

Any other prerequisites I should be aware of or issues running in a VM?

By the way: On MacOS it's working - but I need to run it on Linux.

Re: JTOpen Toolkit CentOS Installer not working

Hi all,

has anyone successfully installed it on CentOS / Redhat? Is there a "--no-gui" option?

Best regards,
