Starting out with JT Open Toolkit

Hey everyone,

I'm new to using JT Open toolkit. I have it downloaded the production key available however, I can't seem to get the toolkit header files to link correctly. I'm using visual studio 2012 where I have a console application in C++ created. I have the header files attached to the project yet it is still not compiling correctly. If someone could walk me through the actual set up of a project using the toolkit that would be immensely helpful for the project I'm working on. I have experience in C# and some in C++ as well as visual studio 2010, I had to update in order to use JT OpenTool Kit. If it's any consollation I can't even get the example projects to run correctly. If you need any more information please feel free to ask. Thank you all.

**Here is the error I'm getting**

Error 4 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) public: static void __cdecl JtkEntityFactory::init(enum JtkEntityFactory:Smiley TonguearasolidOption,enum JtkEntityFactory::environmentOption,char const *)" (__imp_?init@JtkEntityFactory@@SAXW4parasolidOption@1@W4environmentOption@1@PBD@Z) referenced in function __catch$_main$0

Once I comment out the line JtkEntityFactory::init( ); it goes away and compiles correctly.

You should be able to get the help you need with the example programs included with the toolkit install.

This is a link error.

Make sure the libs input directory is set correctly in the project properties.

Once this done, make sure the JT toolkit SDK .lib file are listed in the input section of the linker.

I don't have visual studio in front of me right now but I can tell you the exact locations in the projecy properties later if you need.
