I am not sure what could be going wrong. I just installed JT2Go on my Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android 7.0 and the samples look fine.
What type of device are you using?
Any chance you can update the OS to the latest?
My device is a LG K20 and to the best of my knowage it is up to date.
Let's see if your WebGL is set up correctly.
In chrome, enter the URL chrome://gpu
In the Graphics Feature Status, are the WebGL and WebGL2 settings - Hardware accelerated?
In the Driver information table - look for the Reset Notification strategy - what is the value there?
My settings are as follows...
WebGL: Hardware accelerated
Your settings look fine.
Android device support has been problematic with WebGL and it could be that the device doesn't support it as fully as others. Would you happen to have any other devices at your disposal that you could install JT2Go on and see that it works there?
I also have a Samsung-SM-G730A running Android version 4.4.2. Google Play does not offer the otion to download JT2Go to this device. Message "Your device isn't compatible with this version".
You need to have Android version 6.0 at a minimum because of the WebGL support required. Even if you update to that, you are not guaranteed that JT2Go will work if the onboard GPU (if there even is one in a device that appears be pretty old) doesn't support WebGL properly. If you are able to upgrade, check the values in the chrome://gpu page - if the Reset Notification Strategy is 0x0000 - JT2Go won't work.
Is there a list of Android devices that have been certified for use with JT2Go?
