Can you provide some additional information.
What version of SolidEdge ST8 do you have, specifically - ST8 OOB or patched to an MP, like MP6, MP7, etc?
What version of JT2Go are you using?
What version of JT file did you export your data as?
Is it possible for you to provide the JT file(s) for me to look into?
I have tried this with one part, and I found if I give one part a color and another one with none or part style, then the one without color shows gray...if I give all parts color, it shows correctly, or if I don't give them color, it also shows correctly.
Is it true about JT2GO???
Thanks and regards
My guess is, that there may be a problem with the translator that is exporting the data out of SolidEdge. I tested the files you gave me in JT2Go 10.1.5 and 11.2.2 and also in Teamcenter Visualization 10.1 (which JT2Go 10.1.x is based on). The files all show up as you have described. I would send all of the information you have posted here to the SolidEdge team to see if they can provide guidance on what you are seeing. I do not believe the problem is with the viewing solution, but in how it is being exported out of SolidEdge.
JT is the common language of PLM and is the world’s most widely used 3D format. JT is the first ISO International Standard ( IS 14306-1) for 3D visualization and collaboration. Compact and accurate, JT is used throughout the product development lifecycle in all major industries to communicate the critical design information typically locked up inside a CAD file.
Siemens PLM Software customers rely on JT to be the most robust 3D visualization format available.
