Configuration of CMS X-Tools to connect with OPC servers and clients

How to connect X-Tools to an OPC UA Server? How to connect an OPC UA Client to X-Tools as OPC UA Server? Is it also possible for X-Tools to communicate with an OPC DA Server?

OPC (for Open Platform Communications) is a series of standards and specifications for industrial telecommunication, mostly used in the automation industry. OPC specifies the communication of real-time plant data between control devices from different manufacturers. The current standard is the OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), but the former standard OPC DA is also used. Unfortunately, X-Tools cannot be directly connected with an OPC DA Server.
