I'm looking for the 4th to 5th axis offset value for the Mazak i-600 Variaxis machine. The base offset number before any tuned value from commisioning the machine. I need a starting point.

Hi,

you can read all offset values from the following system variables of this machine into some local variables #700, #701, #711, #712:

 

#700 = #50700       (XY rot_offset C)
#701 = #50705
                    
#3200 = 2           (YZ rot_offset A)   
#711 = #3212/10000.
#3200 = 3
#712 = #3212/10000.

That’s great. Now I can get the customer/s to provide the exact info without confusion.

Do you have some values from an existing I-600 machine? So I can build the generic machine model.

When I run them on the machine i-600, I get the values like:

#700 = -255.

#701 = -510.

#711 = -510.

#712 = -530.

There are the offsets for axes C and A from machine zero.

They used to put a plague on the machines with the values stamped on it.
