PostConfigurator is failing

Valued Contributor
Valued Contributor

Hi,

I  created a new postprocessor within postconfigurator, but no matter what I choose I kept getting this error:

pc.png

What I did:

  • Started from scratch, selected different combinations of layers (even selected nothing except controller)
  • Tried to change some of the settings, saved and tried to post it
  • Started from sim08 example postconfigurator post, duplicated it and tried to post
  • Tried to change time and date locales to English (since its clock.tcl)
  • Been sure newly created directory is empty

NX version 12.0.1

Related syslog is in attachment.

No matter what I did, it seems to be postconfigurator is failing at every attempt. Any ideas to how to make it work?

I won't be able to use GTAC, it is accesible through my reseller, too indirect.

Hello, I think this is a problem with the tcl inteprerter, the antivirus or something has deleted some files.

You must reinstall or repair the part with the tcl interpreter in order to PC work.

The same occurs if you try to postprocess any tcl post with for example, the following code:

set t [clock seconds]
set my_date [clock format $t -format "Hour: %H:%M Day: %d/%m/%Y"]

Regards

Frank.

Hi @Frank,

Thank you for your answer, i tried to execute your code with pb, but there is a type conversion problem with the code. I couldn't figure it out.

For the antivirus part my software didn't suspected about any file of NX. My installation is a clean one. I will try it again with a fresh install just to be sure.

Is that problem occurs on NX12.0.1 with or without MP1

If with MP1, when do you have downloaded MP1 as there was pushed a new version of MP1 after one or two days, after it was placed on GTAC the first time.

Hi @SpaceTom,

Thank you for your response, sorry for lack of info, it was MP01 and it was installed after its been recalled.

I just reinstalled latest MP01 to be sure and the problem still persists.

I've also tried with latest EAP and it seems problem still remains.

Would be happy to help find out whats causing it.

Hi @dfdfgs,

could you plesae try the fix suggested here: https://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Discussion-Forum-NX-Manufacturing/NX12-0-1-MP1-Fix-f...

The problem you are reporting seems similar.

Thanks and regards,

Hi @FlorianW,

This solution fixes my problem. Also fixes shop doc output problem too, this one was started from very first NX 12 and was same across new releases, including MP01.

Thank you!
