PostConfigurator motion splitting

Hello ,

I needed to advise how to set up in PostConfigurator to get me the tool at the beginning of each operation first in XY and then in the Z axis. I set this function in the post but it works only when the tool is changed and I go in the next operation with the same tool , so it is already positioned in all XYZ axes. Below is a screen from PostConfigurator settings and generated code.
Would anyone know how to set it up so it was just XY and then Z?

Thank you

Hello, do you use the newest libraries from NX12.0.1? I also had this behavior one year ago. There was an error in the libs, I guess. In case of Drilling OPs we did some quick hack to overcome this in first_motion event.
...
if {$mom_operation_type_enum == "450"} {
MOM_suppress once Z
MOM_do_template rapid_move
MOM_do_template rapid_move
}
...

But with the newest libraries that should not be necessary anymore.

Hopely, that will help a little bit.

Regards

Gregor
