Suppress G_feed when you are using SMM or SFM

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hi!

I need to suppress or disable the word G_feed when you are using SMM/SFM in operation.

I can't find the entry point to create a good proc for this.

I have attached a document with example on the output.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

if you use a library version of Post Configurator >4.3.2 you can use the Buffer for the spindle settings.

LIB_GE_command_buffer_edit_append LIB_SPINDLE_start SPINDLE mySuppress _SuppressSomeSpindleConditions

#------------------------------------------------------------
proc mySuppress {} {
#------------------------------------------------------------
MOM_suppress Always G_feed

}

If you use an older library version you should use the entry point in the start_of_path event.

proc MOM_start_of_path_LIB_ENTRY {arg} {
  switch $arg {
      "end" {
           if {$::mom_spindle_mode == "SMM"} {
               MOM_disable_address G_feed
           } else {
               MOM_enable_address G_feed
          }
  }
}
}

Best regards

Thomas
