I have an assembly that I'm working with/creating and want to add text (Curve -> Text) to the assembly in various locations to number/mark different components. I have several of the same parts (markers) being used in many places in the same assembly, so I'm wanting to add the text (the text will be different for each location) in the assembly instead of the part level. Does that make sense? (see screenshot)
When I go to add the text and specify the Anchor Point, I'm finding that it will only let me select a point "Within Work Part Only". Because of that, I cannot select the point that is in the marker itself. It has to be in the work part.
On a previous project, I've created points in the work part directly over the points in the markers and was then able to add the text by selecting the new points.
This task seems redundant since the points in the markers are already there. Is there any way that I can select the points that are in the marker (see screenshot) instead of having to create these redundant points?

That worked. Thanks! I wish the "selection scope" could be changed to allow for "Entire Assembly"; but if that can't be done, the Wave sure saved a lot of time. I hadn't even come close to thinking of that myself.
