Hi,

How can I add additional balloons manually?

- A second baloon to a already ballooned object in another view

- A balloon with partnumber or partname instead of partslist position number

regards,

Urs

Hi @ursus,

Create manual balloon in required view and using the object attribue you can have same callout number as it in another view for same component. See the attached video.

About part name in the balloon, you can define a string expression with formula 'ug_askCurrentWorkPart()' in each part and it can be used to insert as a text in manual balloon. Text > Relationship > Insert Expression > Link to Part. Consider the balloon size, length of part/component name.

Hi

I can seggest 2 solution about it.

At first, by 'Reference Symbol Text'
From Part List Setting, you can use 'Reference Symbol Text' option beside 'Main Symbol Text' additionally.
If you use this option, you can input additional balloon to another view.
(But you will have Main and Reference symbol for each view sametime.
And you must use same symbol type for main and reference )

Another, by multi-part list method.
If you set 'UGII_UPDATE_ALL_ID_SYMBOLS_WITH_PLIST=0' vatiable to ugii_env.dat,
you can create additional Part List.
And you can create 'auto balloon' with each 'part list' for each view. LOL

For additional Question.
you can select symbol text type [none, callout, part name, callout and quantity, and Custom]
With 'Custom' type, you can input custom text for example "<W$=@DB_PART_NAME>"

Hi @GaneshKadole

Thank you for the video.

I hoped for a slightly fancier solution (pick the component and choose the attribute).

Now quite a few clicks are necessary.

However...it is a solution that will do the job.

best regards
