can anyone advise, what is the reason of the following behaviour:
An assembly opened on one computer opens correctly, except that assembly constraints appear without names (only icons). The same assembly opened on another machine, shows the constraints with names. The problem persists, after NX/machine restart.
It seems to me to be a bug, but maybe I miss something in 'Load Options'.
Compare the "show object names" option between the 2 computers (menu -> preferences -> visualization -> names/borders -> show object names).
@cowski1 - 'Show Object Names' appears to be a part setting, so I would expect both workstations to show the same display.
@WZ - "the assembly constraints appear without names (only icons)". Is this in the Graphics Display or the Constraint (or Assembly) Navigator? Can you upload a screenshot?
That doesn't look right. I've looked through our database of issues and don't see anything similar that has been reported. It can't be navigator properties as it would also affect the Constraints Navigator. It's almost as though the ANT registry settings are messed up. I also noticed that you have a constraints group as a top node - how did you accomplish that?
Do any other assemblies show this same behavior on the problem workstation?
@BenBroad- thanks for your answer and search for similar issues. I can't check it now, how other assemblies behave on this machine. I suppose they behave normally. I had similar issue some time ago (on NX 8), and only one model was affected. When we will have access to this machine again, we will try to re-install NX. I'll post the result here.
