Hi, I have a question about something which isn't necessarily a problem, I'm just interested in trying to understand why there's a difference between NX within teamcenter and native NX.
Within teamcenter NX, when I'm in the process of adding an assembly constraint the models become greyed out (visually the same as when you make a component your work part). When I use native NX this doesn't happen.
Can anyone explain if this is significant in any way? I've tried comparing settings and can't find anything relevant.

Can you add screenshots of the two different modes.
Make sure that the assembly navigator is in the screenshot.

Haven't tested, but maybe this setting...

Thanks for the replies. That helped point me in the right direction.
Within the Visualisation Prefs, Session Settings section there is an Emphasis Precedence toggle for 'Product Interface Objects' which changes this. I'm guessing it's just a graphical aid and no real difference to how the constraints function.
