You might also want to look into using the Product Interface functionality:

 

Useful product interfaces include the following:

  • Faces that should be used for mating when you add your part as a component to an assembly.

Another reason it may not show up is if you don't have the "Assemblies" application chosen (in the "Applications" ribbon tab - it should have a different color background than the rest of the ribbon bar background)

Thanks, everyone, for the info.  After knowing where to look, I was able to find the override position option.  I'll have to look a the instructions for that and try working with it.  I'll also need to review the product interface info.  Thanks, again.  I do appreciate the help.
