Is there a global setting to change the colors of the annotation text & dimensions within a drawing file. I have a drawing that has the colors of all the text & dimensions as black & using a light colored background. Our customer now tells us they need to have a black background & when they open up the drawings & change the background to black, the text is staying black. I'm using NX9
But then every NEW annotation they add will still be "black on black"
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP5 + patch/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steemed than e-diseaseled
Changing the preference in drafting will help.
Preference > Drafting > Common > Lettering.
Under Text Parameters, Color and Font can be set as required.
Testing: NX 10 | NX 11 | TCIN
TC 11.2 | TC Vis 11.3 | AWC 3.2
Turning on the "wireframe contrast" option will make the dimensions visible on the black background. The dimensions probably won't be the desired color, but at least they will be visible.
Existing Parts and Drawing Templates:
Menu > Preferences > Visualization > Color/Font (tab)
Drawing Part Settings > Monochrome Display: Checked
Gateway > Visualization > Color Settings (tab) > Drawing Part
Same settings as above. These are part settings, not session.
