i need to change edge color in static wireframe view. Because it's looking like faded colors.
i found change menu in costumer default.
But it doesnt work , can not choose color.
i will appreciate if someone tell something.
Then you will have to change the color of the body.
The faces can have a different color from the body so that it appears one color (the face color) in shaded mode and another color (the body color) in the static wireframe display mode.
Go to Preferences -> Object -> General
under "Type", select solid body, select the color that you want. .
create a solid body and then apply the static wireframe view . .
it should adapt the color that you selected.
you can also set this as default body color in the customer defaults.
Go to Customer defaults -> Gateway -> Object , then go to solid body tab.
there you can change it's color. .
hope this helps. .
hey friend ,
Thank you for your help. I know when we change body color , it adapt the color in static wireframe view.
But i dont need this. I need only change colors in static wireframe when body color is same.
i found some setting in visualization preferences at NX 10.0.1.mp3 ,but it doesnt working . It doesnt let to choose line color in wireframe or static wireframe.
What Cowksi mentioned is the only way to do what you're after.
The setting you've mentioned for 'Shaded Edge Colour' is exactly what it says, the colour of an edge in a 'SHADED' view. A Wireframe view is NOT shaded.
Look at the video attached to see what Cowski is referring to.
The option you are showing us will just change the color of the edge of the solid body, it is located in the customer defaults under gateway - > visualization - > visual but it has no effect in the color of the edges when rendering in static wireframe, since the edge color in Static Wireframe only adapts the color of the solid body itself.
you can try this but it will take your time a bit.
now, you have your default body color in shaded view and when you view your model in static wireframe, it will adapt the body color.
