I would like to use check-mate. I know it's possible to get information about how many entities thera are on a certain layer. I would like to edit that check and create a new one:
Check passes when there is 1 solid body on layer 1 and
Check fails when there are 2 or more solid bodies on layer 1 and
Check gives a warning in case there is no solid body on layer 1
I would really appriciate it when someone could help me or even could send a *.dfa file!!
I am using NX 10.
Please take a look at existing Check-Mate template checker "Check if Layers Contain Objects of Valid Types" as example. The DFA file can be found in %UGII_BASE_DIR%\design_tools\checkmate\dfa\template\mqc_check_layers_objects_mapping.dfa.
What you need to do is:
- copy this dfa as your own dfa, and update the display name, category etc.
- change the rules inside "check_rule" method to be the logic that you described.
- put your DFA in Check-Mate search path (e.g. UGCHEKCMATE_USER_DIR).
