Cloning in Teamcenter with wavelinks

Hi there

I have a small question.

The original assembly strcuture you can see in the attache image (position 1).

I would like to know if its is possible to clone all assemblies, subassemblies and parts with all the wavelinks (linked to the new number). On the Assembly there is a drawing. All the other parts are geometry only (not shown on part list)

Instead of the name prefix "new_ for" all the .prts a new number.

Is that possible?

Best regards

WinnCH

Hi WinnCh,

Yes it is as long as you have ALL linked source parts represented in the assembly - otherwise the links in the fresh cloned target parts (where the source part is not cloned as it is not represented in the assembly) will still point to the original source part.

Best Regards
